If you look closely, you can see both bridges.  This was taken from the island side, so the mountains of Snowdonia are in the background.

Day 304 – sunset

Just before the sun dropped below the horizon of the sea.  A really cold hour on the beach, I needed more clothes, but the dogs loved it, they even went into the sea!

Day 215 – canal bridge

A beautiful day along the canal, the sunshine when it arrive, after burning through the clouds was stunning.

A beautiful day walking along the canal  with friends.

Day 48 – Rhondda Fach

Road resurfacing led to a detour over the mountain tonight, so I took the opportunity for a quick shot down the valley in the evening sunshine (plus ash of course!) In front is Stanleytown, to the right Tylorstown (my destination for rehearsal) , with Pontygwaith disappearing around the corner.  Please correct me if I have my villages in the wrong place!!  You can see how much earlier the sun sets in the valley than on the mountain. Maybe on another day I’ll get a shot of the bandroom from up there.
