Brilliant stats even though I only blogged a little after completing the photo 365.  I’m going to have a think and see what I can do to make 2012 a blogging year, any suggestions or recommendations for blogs with good ideas greatfully received!

As you can see they are all excellent swimmers!

The best bit about swimming is the bounding out of the surf, and running up the beach to shake off all of the water on the humans.

More excellent news, Running Dog is also Swimming Dog, and loved playing in the sea, sorry swimming training!

Now all we have to do is figure out how to do the third discipline…

A great day at the beach today, this is Running Dog, and along with Rubbish Running Dog she came to the beach to play in the water and in the rock pools and on the sand.

All sleeping now, though I bet they will be ready to do it all again tomorrow.

She was very good when I got the camera out, something that she will have to get used to.  I have a photo of Jess’ nose that I love, so at some point, I’m going to get shots of Lara and Layla’s too. More beach shots too, they love playing on  the beach and playing with other dogs too.

Finally completed this crafty project today, after taking way too long.  Its always the case that when I do too much crafting, I overdo it, and need to take time to get my hands back to happy again. I’m really pleased to have completed this, so that i can move on to another unfinished crafty project, and do some more, the question will be, which one, there are a few that I could choose from. I’ll let you know, it could be crochet or cross stitch, but definitely something I’ve already started, so that the UFO list doesn’t grow any bigger!

Looking at most of the recent posts of the beaches of South Wales, I though of course of my trip a few years ago to Cyprus.  These animals all live in the Paphos Bird & Animal park, with many others.

As close as I dared get to the camel, he didn’t seem to mind.

Not everyone liked being looked at though.  This bird was regaining its plumage after having recently moving to to the park.

Running really fast and together,  surely after running in the triathlon this must be the second thing?

No? okay we’ll just have to think of something else…

we had lots of fun running with the other dogs, it was a great day. Jess was having great times too, she was lying in the rock pools..

Not forgetting of course, friends met on the beach, having a great time, the swift lurcher, bearded collie, and more.

So, having figured out what the first part of the triathlon is, I think the girls may work out that swimming comes next.  I’m looking forwards to seeing what comes next….

A fountain in Lisbon.
